1965 CHEVROLET IMPALA SUPER SPORT

This Impala SS is George Chow's from Moose Jaw, SK.  George is the car's fourth owner. The third owner did most of the restoration. George, a member of the National Impala Association, purchased and finished the car and now drives it regularly.  It's restored and remains stock, as close to original as possible.  It's a Canadian vehicle, built in the Oshawa plant and originally sold from Stedelbauer Chev in Edmonton, AB.

1960 FORD FALCON

Here's a nice example of the precursor to the Mustang.  The common 4 door 'compact' sedan with a 144 cid 80 horse engine now isn't so common as it was those 40+ years ago.  Submitted by the owner, Robert Baird, in Ft. Worth, Texas, this Falcon came out of the Kansas City Plant and was originally sold in Kansas City. It had no heater as it was an option in those days; a delete plate is still there in it's place, never having been removed. This is one of the lowest numbered Falcons still running in great condition. Only the engine and running gear have been rebuilt.

1972 BUICK GS STAGE 1

Submitted by the original owner, Richard Oppenheimer, in Boca Raton, Florida, this beauty has the original 455 V8 with 270 horsepower. It's 1 of only 81 made in 1972. With only 72,700 miles on the odometer, the car has complete documentation and is as close as Richard can remember to the day he picked it up new!  It has been disassembled, cleaned up, and reassembled.  This gorgeous GS won National AACA 2nd place in 2000.

1963 MERCURY MARAUDER

This Red Merc Marauder R code is only one of two left in the whole universe! They made 21 R codes in 1963. In Ford products of that era, the 5th letter in VIN code, "R" indicates the car was a 427 V8 with 425 HP. This car is awesome! Odometer reads only 57,000 miles. What's it worth? Here's where you toss aside your Classic Cars Buyer's Guide. Probably close to the $50,000 mark and that'll probably double within the next 5 years.

1972 BUICK SKYLARK

Submitted by Joe Byrne in East Lake, Ohio. Joe found this beauty in a barn with only 133,000 miles on the clock. Only $500 later the car was in his possession and a little elbow grease washed away 8 years of barn grime.  With a new battery, the 350 turned over on the 2nd crank.  The insurance company appraised it at $5,000 the way it sits.  Nice find Joe!

1955 CHRYSLER 300C

Submitted by David Broxterman, the owner of this vintage 1955 Chrysler 300C, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  With the legendary 331 Hemi V8, this was one of the fastest North American production cars of the 50s. This beauty has only 85,000 original miles. It's the original white color, though repainted in Texas in the summer of 2003. The last owner, James Barnhardt from Amarillo, Texas owner had purchased it from New York.
